Background

Petitioner (UH Community Colleges) filed its draft petition on November 4, 2016.  The Commission heard the Petitioner’s Motion for a Declaratory Ruling to waive a requirement for an incremental development plan and map on November 22, 2016 and issued an Order approving the waiver on November 24, 2016.  The Commission deemed the filing complete on November 30, 2016.  The LUC held initial hearings on March 22-23, 2017 on Kaua`i.  The evidentiary portion of the hearings were closed on March 23, 2017.  The parties are required to file draft proposed findings of fact, conclusions of law, and decision and order (FOFCOLD&O) by April 20, 2017.  All parties are to file comments and objections to the proposed FOFCOLD&O by May 4, 2017.  A hearing for final arguments by the parties was held on July 26, 2017 on Kaua`i where the Commission rendered its decision and issued a Decision and Order on August 11, 2017 per Motion on August 10, 2017.
