DR17-59 MONSANTO COMPANY, a Delaware Corporation’s Petition for Declaratory Order to Designate Important Agricultural Lands (IAL) for approximately 1,550 acres at Kunia, O`ahu identified by TMK (1) 9-2-001-001 (por.); (1) 9-2-001-005; and (1) 9-2-004-009 was filed on September 8, 2017 with the Commission. Copies of this Petition were provided to the Department of Agriculture, the City and County of Honolulu, and the State Office of Planning to review and provide comments on by September 28, 2017. The Petition was heard by the Commission on October 11-12, 2017 on O`ahu and was tentatively approved with conditions. On November 8-9, 2017, the Commission will be meeting on Kaua`i to adopt the order approving the designation of IAL for the Kunia lands.
