2021 Petition for District Boundary Amendment
A21-810 Pūlama Lāna‘i Hokuao 201H Housing Project on Lāna‘i.
Pursuant to HAR section 15-15-97(b)(3)
Pūlama Lāna‘i, has filed a Petition To Amend The Agriculture Land Use District Boundaries Into the Urban Land Use District for approximately 76 acres of land, consisting of a portion of Tax Map Key No. (2) 4-9-002:061 (por.); (2) 4-9-014:001 (por.); (2) 4-9-014:009 (por.) at Lāna‘i City, Island of Lāna‘i, County of Maui, State of Hawaii to construct 150 single-family homes on 8,000 to 12,000 square foot lots, consisting of both affordable and market-rate units. The remainder of the Petition Area will be developed as a one-acre park, a 1,500-square foot community center, and a 60-stall parking lot.
This Petition was heard on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, by the Commission and the Commission approved the Petition. The Adoption of the Order hearing was scheduled for November 23, 2021.
