A06-770 The Shopoff Group (new owners are Kula Nei Partners,LLC) Order to Show Cause

In January, 2018, the Kula Nei Partners LLC (KNP) group engaged the LUC in discussions related to their role as the new owners involved with the Petition Area. After consideration, KNP sought to update their annual reports and plans for the Petition Area.

A Status Report by KNP was presented at the March 28, 2019 LUC meeting in Kailua-Kona to update the Commission on their current and future plans. At the March 28, 2019 meeting it was determined, based on the status report, that an Order to Show Cause (OSC) action would be taken. This OSC meeting was held on May 22, 2019 at the NELHA facility in Kailua-Kona and it was determined that the Petition Area should be reverted and an Adoption of Order hearing was scheduled for June 27, 2019.

A Decision and Order was issued on July 11, 2019 reverting the Petition Area.
