DECLARATION OF IMPORTANT AGRICULTURAL LANDS

*The following agencies are not formal parties to the declaratory ruling unless and until there is a request for a contested case hearing and a request for intervention.  However, in all petitions for declaratory rulings regarding identification of Important Agricultural Lands (IAL) the State Office of Planning and the State Department of Agriculture are expected to review and provide the Commission and Petitioner with comments.  These agencies and the individual county where the request is being made then decide whether and in what capacity to participate in formal hearings.  The links below are to any comments and positions received from the following agencies.
